Hello, I'm Karli Drinkwater. I moved to Italy six months ago to start a life here with my fiancé, who is Italian. That's the link! I was just getting going, thinking finding a job, a life, making friends, learning a new language was hard enough... and then, the coronavirus hit. We never know what's around the corner and realise that our troubles are trivial when something worse comes along. Yet, I live in hope that we will get through this soon and will be able to feel the sun on our faces, the air in our lungs and the tight hug of friends and family. I'm documenting what's happening here in Italy, as I received messages saying that clearing confusion was helpful and also sharing lessons learned from a country way deeper into the pandemic could provide insights and advice to beat this.
